I must admit, I am a Laura Geller fan. I love the line of makeup that she has and how easy and fun it is to use.
Right now I am on my second round of Laura Geller "The Tropics" Lip color & Lip Gloss2 Piece Set. The first set I had, came up missing from a hotel that I was staying in for a few days. Guess the person who took it needed it more than I did.
When I received the Laura Geller "The Tropics" Lip color & Lip Gloss2 Piece Set, I loved how pretty the pink box was with the palm trees on the side and at the bottom, you will see Laura Geller’s trademark lips. This is so cute.
I was a little worried when I received the box because there was only one box, but when I opened it I saw both the lipstick and the gloss. Usually these things come in separate boxes.
When you removed the tube of lipstick and gloss, you will notice that the lipstick tube is made of metal, not a flimsy piece of plastic. The lip gloss is the same only it has a window on each side of the tube so that you know how much you have left in the tube and when its time to buy more. When you replace the cap to the lipstick, it stays there, doesn’t come off in your purse like so many other brands do. The lip gloss is a screw on cap and you don’t have a struggle with that.
The lipstick is a nice neutral color. It is a pinkish color that seems to go with everything that you wear and I mean everything. I have tried it with peach colors, yellows and it still goes well. it’s a great neutral so that you don’t have to carry several different colors with you.
The lip gloss looks like a creamy white in the tube, but when applied it is clear with just a hint of sparkle. It can go over any color lipstick that you have. The brush is just stiff enough to give you coverage, but not so stiff that you can’t get the gloss off of it.
When using the Laura Geller "The Tropics" Lip color & Lip Gloss2 Piece Set you will notice that it does stay on for quite a while without having to retouch and it doesn’t slip into those fine lines around your lips, even with the gloss. The lipstick is non-drying and won’t leave your lips parched looking; just smooth and moist.
The gloss can be used alone. I do that sometimes when I am in a hurry and don’t have time to do much. Its creamy without becoming sticky. You can add a lot or little of the lipstick or gloss and still be happy with how it works. I love both of them together, especially when I go out with my husband. The gloss just adds to the already beautiful color of the lipstick. I am very fair skinned with dark hair and eyes and it isn't too bright or dark on me.

The Laura Geller "The Tropics" Lip color & Lip Gloss2 Piece Set is so conditioning to your lips that you want to wear it all the time and the good thing is it lasts for a long time and doesn’t irritate. The gloss has a nice scent that doesn’t linger all day. It just reminds you of a nice day on the beach.
I highly recommend this lipstick set to anyone that wants an anytime color that goes with anything.
