Pros: inexpensive, stands upright, can pack in the clippings, reasonable shipping for a large product (Polsteins.com)
Cons: storage when not in use
The Bottom Line: If you bag a lot and want to end the frustration of filling the bags and tearing them, this product is ingenious!

| carlwu's Full Review: Lawn Funnel for Paper Bags 002/Wb-31 |
For anyone who knows the pain of struggling with filling paper lawn bags with clippings or leaves, this product is for you. Of course, I must preface my recommendation for this product with a push to mulch (not bag)mow your lawn. It is much better for the lawn (10-20% of nitrogen requirements may be saved by mulching clippings back into the lawn), does not cause thatch, and saves city resources. The only time I bag is when the grass is wet or when I feel there is an abundance of weeds that have gone to seed. I also mulch as many leaves into the lawn to improve the soils organic content and any excess gets diverted to my gardens as soil amendment. My parents have an over abundance of leaves and I use the Lawn Funnel to bag as much as I can for my gardens.
Anyways, back to the product. You easily can overlay your typical 30 gal paper lawn bag over the Lawn Funnel and then dump any clippings/leaves into it's wide open mouth. It is really nice how it stands up and is very sturdy. You can really pack down the clippings/leaves without fear of the paper bag ripping. When full, you simply jiggle the funnel up (slides out really easily) and just fold up the bag top! It is so easy and saves me a ton of aggravation! I have seen lawn carts that clip open the bag mouth, but this product is a lot better and cheaper. I store it in the attic above my garage in the off-season.
