Pros: Decent price, sturdy, and the felines love it.
Cons: If the cats love it can their be any cons?
The Bottom Line: Highly recommend, and a few more windows would not hurt either.

| SurgRN911's Full Review: Lazy Pet Kitty Cat Furniture Window Perch |
Few things make a cat happier than stretching out in the sun and watching the squirrels and birds at play in the yard. When colder temperatures set in, it is hard for kitties to find an available perch to park themselves for a hard day of ‘work'. Years ago I owned a cheapo kitty perch but I remembered how that old cat loved it, so now with 3 kitties, and a new dog, I thought another perch would be handy.
After two trips to PetSmart I finally found the purrfect roost for my kids. Offered by Lazy Pet Products, Kitty Window Perch™ is easily installed. In fact, so easy an adult can do it! Yes, there is some assembly required and it is most important to follow the instructions completely. The safety of your pet depends on your ability to comply with the few rules that are included with the perch.
There are four thumb screws with an adjustable mounting bracket, and a velcro strip. The velcro must be attached to the window sill and it is imperative that the sill be clean and dry to facilitate adhesion. After following these two simple steps, slip the perch into place and tighten the screws.
It is suggested that you wait at least two hours before allowing kitty to sample his new home. I didn't have any trouble with that since I installed the perch and introduced a new dog into the house at the same time. Not a kitty came near the perch for an entire week because they didn't come up out of the basement. I believe adhesion was successful before the kids jumped up on the comfy pad.
Lazy Pet also suggests that you periodically check the stability of the perch and tighten the thumb screws, if required, just for safety sake.
The kitty perch is a generous 24"Wx14"D pressed board covered with 2" of foam and a cozy faux wool covering (mine is white) that can be removed for washing.
So far, the main man in the house, a 7 year old male, named appropriately, Kitty, has taken full time residency on the perch. I would assume the other two kids would like it as well, but they will have to move his behind in order to get their chance. He is able to stretch out full length and still have spare room on the perch. He doesn't seem to fear the system, so I can only feel that it is stable. Regardless, I have checked it two times anyway, just to be safe, and all was good and tight.
Seems now all that is needed is two more windows for 2 more perches for those left to sit and long for their shot to relax.
Lazy Pet Products can be reached at 1-800-622-1288 for questions and parts availability. Like I said, I purchased mine from PetSmart, for $20 on sale and it is well worth every penny spent.
