Want a magical princess game for your child's Leapster? Pick this one! Boys and girls have played with my daughter's Leapster Software Disney Princess: Belle and Ariel game and loved it. Our friend bought a few games for her twins and they fought over this game in particular so she had to buy two of them! Jewels, princesses, princes, tiaras, and more make this child friendly and Disney-like while being a learning game. I love the number of games that this one has so it keeps a child involved in playing while earning all of those jewels! Very encouraging sound affects! Each time players go to a different part of the game, it looks as if a page were being turned over in a fairytale book.

The jewel chambor has all of the collected jewels. Emeralds, diamonds, rubies, and pearls are collected to create crowns and be elevated to the next level. Children are told how many of each jewel they need to become the next level up: "young maiden", etc. Also what games give out that type of jewel. The treasure chests on this page hold the jewels and pedastals hold the earned crowns.

All Gussied Up: has three levels. The mice make dresses for Cinderella. Mice go along and find shapes, skip count, or make patterns. At times obstacles hit the mouse and make him fall back down after you have moved him up. It is hard to have him jump and move in the right direction, it takes children a little time to learn this eye hand coordination move.

Dance Magic: has a video of a prince looking at Cinderella and asking her to dance. Players use the pen to draw a line through the dancing steps. Only one level to this. The fairy godmother talks encouragingly to players. This game can be difficult for children who need to learn not to lift their pen until the line is finished! Touching the green footsteps and drawing the line to the red footsteps while not lifting the pen up. This leads up to drawing letters!

Stardust Skies: Kids can make fireworks here and magically see their own name in lights as the prince dances with Cinderella on the balcony. Beautiful firework images and sounds by just touching the screen! My daughter loved doing this for long periods of time.

Swim For It: my favorite game has three levels. Help Ariel take her treasure back home. Players choose a cave for Ariel to swim in. Players move Ariel along in the water to find the answer...such as find a 5, or find only one seashell, group of two starfish, etc. Ariel can jump out of the water too. The bonus round lets you collect rubies as many as you can before Ariel arrives.

Clam Madness: has three levels. A number of clams open and close while players try and click on a letter before the specific one closes back up again. Keep watching and try to get all of the letter Es before time is up. The sound letters make also are in the game. Beginning and ending sounds of words can be in the shells too.

Stardust Seas: is the same as Stardust Skies except the fireworks are over the sea!

Sing Along Wth the Song: has two options. Sing along with the song or play a game. As the characters sing, children can follow along as the words to the song are at the bottom of the screen, each word lights up as it is sung. The game has the same song but touching words with u or other letters or sounds will make bubbles come up! There are two different sing along with the song options!

Touching the princesses will have them speak to players. I love the many game options and how kids earn jewels so are encouraged not to give up on the learning games. This is a game that will last a long time as there is so much to do in it! It takes time to collect the jewels for crowns making children eager to keep playing. The different levels are great for many ages of children, recommended for ages 3-9 years old. The magical moving characters and songs make this interactive with learning fun.
