Pros:Rounded handles, locking blades, Leatherman name and warranty
Cons:None I can even imagine
The Bottom Line: I recommend the Pulse due to the fact that it has locking blades, rounded handles, all the tools you'll ever need, quality workmanship, warranty and ease of use.
Anybody reading this review should already know that the Leatherman name speaks for itself. This tool is without a doubt the most handy and capable multi-tool on the market today.

I bought my first original Leatherman in the early 90's while attending military college. I loved it except for two annoying problems. The first was that fact that the blades and other tools did NOT lock. The second was that the square handles tended to pinch your hand while the tool was being used.
Well, enter the Leatherman Pulse. The rounded handles ended the pinching problem I had but the greatest feature on the Pulse is the fact that every tool locks in place. They work like a charm. I don't have to worry about the blade (or whatever tool I'm using) flipping back and crushing my finger. When I do need to unlock the blade I just use my thumb to pull back the locking mechanism and use my other hand to push the tool in. Eureka! It's as simple as that.
Listed below are just a few examples of how I've used the Pulse since receiving it as a Christmas present:
Tighten a screw on my son's Power Wheels
Take the case off my pc
Open box after box of hardware at work
Keep the fingernails in check!
Open a can of soup
I've used it a countless number of other times as well but I can't even begin to remember them all. I can't go on enough about how great this tool is. I plan on using it for life. Another great thing about purchasing a Leatherman is that they all come with a 25 year warranty and you can register your Leatherman online. Also, I would recommend purchasing a Leatherman with a velcro case. A velcro case is easier and quicker to pop open when you need to get hold of the tool itself. And don't forget to search online for the cheapest price.
