MacLevin's Full Review: Leatherman Tool Leatherman Wave
When your are framing a house, it stinks to need a pair of pliers and have to climb down from your perch to find the right tool. If you walk into a room and realize that the screws in the switchplates are not properly tightened, it can take precious seconds out of your day to find the proper phillips or flat-head screw driver. When attempting to start the car in the morning, but it won't budge, you may want to save time while removing the distributor cap to spray in a liberal amount of WD-40.
Tim Leatherman took all of our (guys) wishes for a pocket-size tool chest and created a fantastic product. The pliers are strong and agile. The knives come out with one hand. The scissors could probably cut a Swiss Army knife in half. The sheath is even beautiful and well constructed.
I've used it building a house, for car repairs, for computer repairs, for opening packages and cans and for playing with while stuck in a boring meeting. If you a guy reading this, buy it. There are more than enough reasons to purchase one. If you are a lady reading this, buy two. You could use one, then give one to a friend.
