I never finished the original cart because my NES system became faulty and would turn on and off on its own (blue flashing screen) This whiped the memory on both my Zelda I and II before I was able to finish the game. So it was really nice to be able to play Zelda again without having to either be sitting infront of a computer or worrying that I would loose my save game. Also having it portable is a big plus. Zelda 1 is the granddaddy of most roleplay games out there. It has the angled top down view, buyable items, secret passages, and other elements still found in most roleplay games.
