but I gotta wonder how much Lenny Kravitz fell off when he made this record. I thought 5 was one of the best rock records made in the 90's simply because Lenny did whatever he wanted and f*ck the critics. I was never a big fan of any of his records until that one and I would have never called it a fluke until I heard this one. I truly think the brilliance of 5 was a fluke now, because I just can't get into anything else he does...and maybe that is the mark of a true talent, who knows.

I was listening to a tape I made with all my favorite Lenny songs in the car while I was driving to work then I log onto Epinions and you've reviewed him, that's more scary than his voice in Believe!
I dig, crave, DROOL for Lenny. Sorry Carletta, I know the guy's talented and write nearly all of his lyrics, plays all the instruments on his records (I'll never forget the time I found out he also played BUD CANS in I belong to You)
but hey, first of all the guy's a HOTCAKE in my book.

I generally like this whole album for it's various facets and moods that it creates, it's a little different from the House Beats I usually listen to.

A lucky find for a first review, and pretty unbelievable for the amount of attention Lenny gets. I've missed Lenny's past three attempts at music, so I guess this means that I'm gonna have to get back on the ball here. Great as always!

I could be wrong, but I think the Kravitz/waitress/Gina Gershon video you mention might be "Again". Can't believe a CD by an artist this big actually had no reviews on it. What a find! You should get two entries for this one :)
