I just bought this and it's still sitting by the backdoor. I was going to have my dh hook it up to the swingset tonight. Bummer that you don't like it much. I'll probably keep it though - it was a bargain at Target at $9.00! I'll write my epinion on it after I've used it for awhile - although that may be awhile - it's 103 in Dallas today! Yikes! Thanks!

You're back. Thanks for a great review. I just had my little Ethan in the yard in this very swing and considered writing a review on it. You beat me to it.
I don't even fool with the lock anymore. I just keep it locked and it's not a problem. Ethan has very short legs, which makes this possible. Also, mine is about 6 years old and I wish it had a seat belt. I don't know why it doesn't, but it sounds like it wouldn't have lasted anyway.
