| kparsons13's Full Review: Light Force |
My fiance has worked at Whole Foods Market for over three years now. Although it is expensive, since we have a nice discount there we tend to do most of our shopping there. My favorite department is Whole Body. It is here that you can find everything from vitamins, videos on health (such as Yoga), cosmetics, beauty products, and other interesting products that relate to your taking care of your body. However, one area that I will steer clear of is the "Greens Section." I would say at least five times a week if not everyday, there is a sample of a "Greens Product" that is open for tasting. Over time I have learned to try one sip but to always expect the worse. When I speak of "Greens," I am talking about the powder drinks offered that are mixed with water to help with your health, body, and energy level.
So when my own brother, Dr. Ryan Parsons, told me that he had developed his own version of the Greens Drink, I wasn't exactly excited to try it. I was happy that he had produced a drink that he felt was the best out there and proud of his accomplishment. I just was not into the Greens Hype that had taken the country by storm in stores such as Whole Foods Market. With this in mind, he shipped me a free canister of LIGHTFORCE to try out and give my opinion of before it was going to be put out on the market.
~Packaging~
LIGHTFORCE comes in a plastic canister that has an easy twist off top. It is considered to be a Dietary Supplement and holds 227 grams total in it's packaging. Underneath the logo, the phrase "Advanced High Energy Greens Plus MSM" is displayed as a sum of the product itself. The packaging is easy on the eyes with a picture of natural greens as a palette in the front, the ingredients on one side, and the description and directions of LIGHTFORCE on the other side. In the inside of the plastic canister is a scoop to use as a measuring tool for the correct dose needed. The measure is about 1/2 teaspoon for each drink.
~Directions~
Mix 1 scoop in 16 ounces of water three times daily. Drink within 20 minutes for maximum benefits.
~My Experience
Since I had experienced many issues with previous versions of other companies' Green Products, I was extremely reluctant to try LIGHTFORCE. However, this was afterall my brother and I wanted to support him while also giving an objective opinion. So what was my solution? I used my fiance as my own ginny pig to try it out first.
We took a glass of water and took out a scoop of LIGHTFORCE to add into the water. The consistency of the powder is very, very fine and dissolves quite easily. The water of course is green afterall but not as flaky and inconsistent as other Green Products that I had previously tried. My fiance took a taste and I could see by the expression on his face that he actually liked it. He was able to swallow the entire glass and then looking over to me for my turn.
So I followed the easy directions and made my own glass of LIGHTFORCE. I will add that since I live in Phoenix, Arizona where the water is NOT good to drink, I used bottled water. I would recommend using bottled water with LIGHTFORCE as I believe it tastes better. First instinct for me was to smell the glass LIGHTFORCE water. When I had opened up the canister itself, I of course smelled Greens but that was expected. It didn't have a bad odor to it at all. I was surprised about this but it also made me feel much more comfortable with actually drinking it for some reason.
I took a taste and was in shock. It didn't taste gross, clumpy or even flaky. The powder had combined with the water nicely and after using a spoon to stir it up, it worked fine. I ended up drinking the entire glass without having to hold my nose or gasp with distaste. I was actually pleased with LIGHTFORCE and it had nothing to do with the fact that my brother had developed it. It just happened that I liked it and I didn't have a bad experience from it.
So for the next month I used LIGHTFORCE on a regular basis, three times a day. I will warn you that it is a cleansing drink and your body will take close to a week to balance itself. (This is a polite way of saying that you should stick near a toilet for 5-7 days.) However, I already knew that it was very important to detox your body and cleanse it. I was inspired to try this out for the next month. (The canister of 227 grams will last you about 30 days.)
Over the course of 30 days, I lost over 10 pounds and had a significant boost in my energy. I attribute all of this to LIGHTFORCE. It is considered to be a Dietary Supplement and for me it really worked. I will say that my weight does fluctuate here and there but 10 pounds is a big difference rather than my usual 5 pounds. I was very pleased with the results.
For years I have used LIGHTFORCE as part of my daily diet. I did stop for a period due to medical reasons but have now started back up again. You should always consult your doctor when trying out a new product such as this, especially for women if you are planning or trying to become pregnant or even nursing. You should store LIGHTFORCE in a cool area out of sunlight. I also keep the lid on tight so that dust or other pet particles do not get into the canister. In Arizona, the land of the desert, you need to be careful of dust and in other parts of the country like Rhode Island (where I grew up) humidity can also be a big factor.
~The Low-Down~
LIGHTFORCE does not contain any "yeast, eggs, processed sugar, bee products, dairy, algae, preservatives, artificial colors or flavors." The nutrients that you would find in most of your fresh foods are included in LIGHTFORCE. The product is a consistency of wild and organically grown grasses, herbs, vegetables, sprouted grains, with the combination of MSM for your ph level balance.
~What is MSM?~
It is best said from my brother's own words:
"Methyl-sulfonyl-methane (MSM) is a naturally occurring sulfur compound. It's present in a variety of foods as well as our bodies and has shown to be beneficial. It is one of the safest substances in biology, similar in toxicity to water. It is essential in maintaining the structure of proteins in the body and has been shown to be helpful in reducing muscle spasms, decreasing pain associated with arthritis, increasing blood flow and improving digestion."
~How Can You Be Sure It Works?~
From my experience, I can tell you that it does make a world of difference for me. However if you are still skeptical there are testimonials from other athletes on the website listed below for more information. These athletes range from Olympians to UFC Fighters to Jiu-Jitsu Athletes. There are biographies of each athlete as well as how LIGHTFORCE has made the news in magazines and interviews.

~Conclusion~
Everyone has their own likes and dislikes. Everyone has their own taste in what appeals to their tastebuds and what does not. I was quite hesitant on trying this product and it was made by my own brother. However since I was asked for an unbiased opinion, I tried it out. I am pretty much hooked on it now. Some people take vitamins as part their regular diet, I just take LIGHTFORCE.
I find that it has helped my energy level which I really needed in my life. It cleanses my body consistently. As far as the taste, I don't mind it. However I am used to trying "Green Products" as well. It isn't chocolate but it also isn't... Well I think you understand my point. From what I have tried on the market through sips and even buying other green products over the past three years, I like LIGHTFORCE. It works for me and I highly recommend it.
*A warning to all, it is expensive at $49.99 a canister, but it is also worth it for your overall health and well-being.*
