| janalarrymatea's Full Review: Light-Up Baby Ball |
This is a great toy to have around when your 1 year old is starting to understand words, not a great toy when she is learning how to play ball.
This ball is very cute. My little girl really enjoys it. She especially enjoyed it from about 9 months until 16 months. There are molded buttons all the way around the ball. A mommy, daddy, baby, doggie, ect.. You can set the ball to either say the name of the button pushed, or sing a song when a button is pushed. My daughter enjoyed the ball on both settings.
The downfall to this ball? Sore feet. My little girl can't comprehend the fact that some balls are not for throwing. She assumes that it is a ball, and can be tossed around the house freely. My little one has a habit of calling 'catch' after the ball has been thrown. There is no warning.
Our ball is currently in hiding, but will be out again when baby number 2 (due next month) is old enough to enjoy it. Hopefully by then, baby number 1 will be old enough to understand how heavy this ball is.
