| rphgal's Full Review: Light-Up Baby Ball |
I had purchased a musical ball for my daughter when she was an infant 13 years ago. Now that I have my infant son, I was looking to purchase the same item. This ball is not exactly the same as the previous one but holds the same entertainment value now as it did then.
The ball has 2 settings--one for music alone and one for music and sounds. It also has a high and low volume switch. It is a good floor toy for babies. Baby needs only to roll the ball to hear the music. To hear the sounds, there are six small buttons to push. The ball also has star shaped lights that twinkle when the music plays.
The music and lights keep my baby entertained. Baby likes to coo along to music. The buttons which produce sounds, such as cat meows or people saying Bye-Bye, do not hold an interest for baby. I think that the buttons are too small and unattractive to hold baby's interest. Also, some of the sounds are too harsh. Therefore, I just always keep the toy on it's music only setting.
All in all, this is a good toy.
