My husband and I just returned from a two night stay at the Lighthouse Lodge and Suites in Pacific Grove, CA. We were very impressed with our stay and the lodge itself.

Check in was fast and courteous. We stayed in a suite, and were amazed at the cleanliness and space we had in our suite. Our suite included an awesome king sized bed with a feather bed, feather pillows, butter soft sheets and a heavy feather comforter. Also in the room was a fireplace, large TV, ceiling fan, mini kitchen with a refridgerator, sink and microwave. The bathroom included an oversized jacuzzi whirlpool tub/shower and bath robes. We were very impressed with all the amenities included.

Our nightly rate included hors doeuvres and wine served in a dining room near our room, a nightly barbeque for dinner and a chef prepared breakfast. There were 10 breakfast choices to choose from, and you could have your breakfast prepared and brought to your room if you prefer. The food and hors doeuvres were excellent, and the wait staff friendly and helpful.

The location of the Lighthouse Lodge and Suites was great, near the beach (which we could hear from our room) and near several sights including Old Fisherman's Wharf in Monterey, Cannery Row in Monterey and 17 Mile Drive and Pebble Beach.

We would both highly recommend Lighthouse Lodge and Suites for anyone visiting the Monterey/Pacific Grove/Pebble Beach area of California. The staff was excellent, the food was excellent, the location was excellent and the room was quaint, romantic and clean.
