Thanks for the great review! I've been debating buying this for a long time now for my soon to be 6 year old. My husband and I have decided it's high time for her to start doing some chores, but I had no idea how to go about setting up a schedule. When I saw this, it seemed almost perfect, but I wanted to see if it had any other mother 'stamp-of-approvals'. Your review is very nice and thourough. Thanks so much for it!

So far the vacation is going smoothly since we are doing errands and have Dr/Dentist appts.
I have him read a book daily and do some workbooks we have from last break that he did not finish.
Yesterday he organized his Zoobooks and is now working on three huge notebooks of Wildlife Explorer and putting the pages in the right chapters.
We get to the library once a week and will be going out for breakfast once a week. We only have till 11:30 and then his brother comes home and I did get the state to pay for summer camp for six weeks.
Thanks for asking Stef, your daughter should like the chart. We take turns placing the awards on and he likes to take them all down on Sunday mornings to start the next week.

Hi, Bonnie! I just bought this for my almost-four year old daughter. She loves it!
I'm just wondering how your son is doing with so much time on his hands... I know he's not used to having a traditional summer vacation (or you, for that matter!).
