This router should work with any DSL or cable modem. It should also allow you to directly connect any printer which is network compatable and has an adaptor which is Ethernet and TCP/IP compatable.

Now, pardon my ignorance, but I have a couple of questions:
1) Does this work for cable modems as well as DSL?
2) How does it work to hook up additional peripherals (such as a networked printer) in addition to computers?

Actually, I had mistakenly put this review onto the wrong model router (Epinions made it difficult to tell at first) and I only realized that it was in the wrong place after I saw your review of the same router while I was wandering the WoT. So thank you for writing first or else mine would have stayed in the wrong place quite possibly forever.

Yes, The router does act as a dynamic host assigning IP addresses automatically. Windows is able to locate the assigned IP automatically so I have no need to specify the IP path for my mail and news clients.

Does the router act as a DHCP server on your LAN?
Do you have to specify the full IP path in your E-mail client and news reader before you can post? Just wondering.
