Pros: Easier than waxing with a better result.
Cons: Can be difficult to find. More costly than most.
The Bottom Line: Try and I doubt you will go back to what you use now.

| electric_storm's Full Review: Liquid Glass Polish/Finish |
I wanted to put a long lasting finish on my new truck ( 3 years old ).
I had used Liquid Glass on my previous truck . And results were good, but the original paint was so bad that the water beading magnified the sun and caused spots in the paint.
I found Liquid Glass at Sears Hardware (separate from regular Sears stores). And it was cheaper than the web site price. The web site claims Napa Auto carries it , but the local stores know nothing about it.
The finish was washed with dish detergent to remove the wax finish. A must. A pre- cleaner is available on their web site. And may be needed if the finish is old, oxidized, or has alot of wax or other finish. This can take time.
It took only about an hour to do the whole truck ( a full size). The finish looks great, and water beads up whether by rain or wash. Don’t be fooled by some products claims about beading water being wrong.
The truck is easier to wash now. And the second coat was even quicker to apply.
It is a bit more expensive than many other finishes but worth it for the results in my opinion.
Recommended:
Yes
Ease of Application: Good; takes little time to apply
