The Paper's Mate:
..Liquid Paper is a product of the Paper Mate Company. They are a common brand in the office area. They make a range of products from pens to whiteout. They make good items with good quality. Among their line of office products is the Liquid Paper All-purpose Correction Pen, of which I will be reviewing today.
What Is IT?
..The Liquid Paper all-purpose correction pen is just whiteout in a pen. It is much more convenient than the bottles of whiteout, because you can slip this one into your pocket with your other pens and pencils. It comes in a 7ml (.24 fl oz.) pen that is no bigger than a Sharpie marker. The only difference that it has from a pen is that there is a fatter area that holds a lot of the liquid and gives you a place to gently add pressure when squeezing it. It has a cap over the tip that keeps the head from drying out, and I can assure you it will dry out if left uncapped. The cap also has a pocket clip to clip it to your pocket or whatever, not that anyone ever does, but what's a pen without one?
..The tip is a standard ball-point tip that lets a slow and steady flow of substance through. It lets the pen glide across the paper nicely.
In The Correcting Action:
..Using the pen is more simple than using the old bottle and brush method. A child could do it with ease. But if you, by some odd chance, can not figure out how to use it, then you can read the directions printed right on the pen: Shakewell, press pen to paper and gently squeeze. It doesn't get any easier than that. Shake it up for a few seconds to start. I noticed that you need to shake it up a little more if you haven't used it in a while because the contents had settled and all I got out of it was water. So shake even more well if you haven't used it in a while. Next, just stick it to the paper where you need it and press it against the paper slightly to push the ball up and let the stuff flow out. Then, glide the pen across the paper while gently squeezing the it. I recommend squeezing it hard enough to let a heavy flow come out. That way it doesn't have any marks where you pushed it around, but instead a smooth cover up. And that's all there is to say about using this pen. It is very simple and a much better value than the bottles of whiteout.
Ad/Dis-Advantages Over Bottle And Brush:
..The Liquid Paper whiteout pen has many advantages over the bottle and brush. Here are the advantages. First off, the bottle gets a build up of gunky stuff around the lip that gets stuff on your paper and makes it look worse than it was. On the pen, there is no gunk build up of any sort. The bottle leaves a sloppy cover, sometimes with bristles that come off the stick. Portability is also a good side to the pen. It fits in your pocket; somewhere you probably wouldn't stick a bottle of whiteout.
..Now for the disadvantages. Well, that's all for the disadvantages.
Drying Time:
..The drying time with the Liquid Paper whiteout is no too long of a wait. I tested it out just before writing this paragraph to see exactly how long it would take. The drying time depends on many factors, such as humidity, air circulation (fan), and how heavy you apply it to the paper. From the test, it took two minutes to dry enough to stack papers on it, but three to four until you could write over it again.
The Odor Factor:
..The whiteout pen has the typical whiteout odor. I can't call it a con for the product since all whiteout has it. The odor isn't too potent; less than a permanent marker, but more than a dry erase marker. Most of the time you will notice the odor as soon as you start using it but it will not bother you too much. I don't really think you can get high on this whiteout dispenser as you would the bottles of it.
WARNING And Other Info:
..Intentional misuse by deliberately concentrating and inhaling the contents can be harmful or fatal. Flammable. Keep out of reach of children.

My Thoughts:
..In the end, I give the Paper Mate Liquid Paper All-purpose Correction Pen a five out of five (*****). It gets the job done and much better, I think, than the bottle and brush types. It fits in your pocket and is easy to use. T is something that everyone should keep in their desk, backpack or briefcase.
