I saw this toy and always felt attracted to it in the store. I thought the animals were cute. The music is great with a nice variety. It is not too obnoxious too.
What I liked about it was that it is easy for my daughter to use. I bought it for her at seven months. I liked that the animals were big and played music when she pushed them. They are big enough for her to handle but not overwhelming big like some children's toys are. The keys to the piano part are easy for her to press. It reminds me of the piano's for babies that toy stores sell. With this toy, the piano buttons are easy for my daughter to manipulate and create music.
We used it a lot to occupy her while she sat in her high chair waiting for dinner. She hasn't gotten tired of it. The ark plays about 8 different songs. Plus I like that V Tech comes with two settings as well as volume control. With two settings, the toy talks as well as plays music so I feel like it is like getting twice as much toy.
Anyway, I really think this toy is a wonderful toy for exploring music, playing songs, and it grows with the baby so at first she/he can move the animals to make it work and then use the piano keys.
