About a year ago, my daughter called me and was so happy to report that she had found the perfect picnic table for her son (my grandson) who was only three years old at the time, but was already off-the-charts for his height.
She had found the Giant Picnic Table made by Little Tikes. My grandson has many friends and they are all artists in their own way! This picnic table is large enough to hold up to six children.
This picnic table is strong! I like the way that it is constructed with no nuts or bolts for him to get hurt on. It comes assembled; except that you have to raise the surface/top to your desired height and lock it into place. It also has a smooth surface for easy clean up. It doesn't seem to matter what gets spilled on it, it cleans up with just water, or sometimes a window cleaner.
During the winter months, my daughter put this Little Tikes Giant Picnic Table in the play room where it got much use. In the summer time, this table gets put out on the deck, so that the children can either eat or play on it, while being close to the adults who are at their patio table!
If you have room for a bigger picnic table in your home, I highly recommend the Little Tikes Giant Picnic Table. Three of my daughter's friends have also purchased one of these tables, after seeing hers. Your child will have many hours of enjoyment coloring, drawing, cutting, painting and, of course, eating at this table. It is definitely worth looking at.
