My youngest grandson, Chad, has one of these Little Tikes Sports Car Beds.

The manufacturer will tell you it's best to buy this bed when the child is 3 years old. Well...Chad just turned 3 in April...and he has had his "Vroom-Vroom Bed" for over a year now!

My son does some racing in the Baja 500 & 1000 races...and has his race car parked in his garage. Ever since Chad has been 1 1/2 years old he has been crazy about race cars.

The Little Tikes Sports Car Bed is constructed of sturdy, heavy gage plastic. And it doesn't mar easy...but if your Little Tike should decide that he wants to change the color of his Sports Car Bed...it cleans up with soapy water.

The bed has realistic looking tires with painted chrome wheels. The dimensions of the bed are 94" long, 58" wide...and about 28" high. It's real easy for the little ones to crawl into...from the front or the sides. A standard twin mattress fits the frame perfectly...and doesn't require any "special' sized sheets.

Chad's Little Tikes Sports Car Bed cost about $249.00 without the mattress. But...he loves it so much that it could have cost much more...and still been well worth the price!!

While I was visiting him this past month we did some painting on his Little Tikes Sports Car "Vroom-Vroom" Bed . Now...instead of being all blue...it has headlights, a grill, and racing flames on both sides.

I used a plastic-coat paint. And though the paintings probably won't outlast the bed itself...I'm sure that Chad will love his bed even more now because of them.

The first thing he does when company comes to the house...pulls them all upstairs to see his "Vroom-Vroom" bed! Having one of these beds can sure make bedtime easier!
