| lavoisier's Full Review: Llorente Flexible Baking Sheet |
When I tried to make roasted potatoes on a baking pan lined with aluminum foil in an oven, they may turn out brown and crispy, if I used clarified butter to coat the potatoes, along with rosemary; but every time I make them, I end up with scraping potatoes off the foil and I don't have the potato skins. Then I tuned into my television one Saturday morning, I've discovered the Llorente infomercial advertising their line of silicone bakeware. Before the end of the infomercial, I quickly ran over to the phone and ordered it immediately.
Using the sheet
With this baking sheet, I can stop worrying about running out of aluminum foil or parchment paper. With this, I can just use my aluminum foil for a meal in a pouch or steam corn on the grille. So, I've first tried roasted potato cubes coated and seasoned with clarified butter and rosemary with this silicone sheet and I've got very good quality roasted potatoes, which are very crispy and brown, just the way I would like to have it served through a meal.
Even if I used this baking sheet for something else like breadsticks or cookies, my breadsticks or cookies never tasted like something that I've previously cooked with this baking sheet. What I mean is that if I baked chocolate chunk cookies after I've used the sheet to cook a filet of tuna, my cookies won't taste like tuna nor that they will have the fishy odors associated with the oven.
Cleanup, you can even forget about it, just take some soapy water, give it a little wipe and rinse the sheet. Yes, you don't even have to soak the baking sheet whatsoever too, because silicone is generally non-stick, fat free; for convenience it can even be cleaned in a dishwasher too. Since this baking sheet is made out of silicone, you can use it in the oven up to 500 degrees, microwave, refrigerator and freezer and you wouldn't even ruin the sheet. You can even try to bang it with a rolling pin and it still survives in one piece. When you're not using it, you can even rollup this baking sheet, like any baking sheet and save some space. So, this means you don't have to worry about not enough aluminum foil or parchment paper for the next time you're baking. Plus, this sheet can fit most standard sized baking pans.
Because this sheet is not metal like aluminum foil, it doesn't conduct the heat and make the edges or surfaces of the food articles burnt on the outside and undercooked on their insides.
With the lifetime warranty that came with the product, I can be sure that I have the same confidence as the endorser Chef Tell. Plus, since I bake a batch of cookies once in about every 2 to 3 weeks, usually from a tube package to make it easy, since I have a busy lifestyle; I knew that this will last almost forever and it's heirloom quality too.
Conclusion
In conclusion, if you're tired of using parchment paper or aluminum foil all over again for just baking or even spraying the baking pan with aerosol greasers like Pam or spreading the pan with butter, you can stop worrying about it with the Llorente Baking sheet. This can even mean no more cash in the trash with aluminum foil or parchment paper.
