I picked up this game about 6 months ago on a trip. My boyfriend and I thought it would be fun to play with our friends and now we are all addicted. Loaded questions is a great "get to know you game". Many of our friends were hesistant at first but we persuaded, okay pushed, them to play. The first time we played it was my boyfriend, myself, a coworker of mine, my roommate and an old college buddy. I figured since I knew everyone best, I would win. Wrong! I came in dead last. So don't be intimidated if you don't know people who are playing, it isn't that hard.
Okay, so everyone has a colored thingy they move on the board. When it is your turn, you roll the dice, land on a square (kind of like candyland), then you match the color of the square to the question on the card.
Here is a sample question we got: "what is your most annoying habit?" So, everyone writes theres down and someone reads them. Since it is my turn, I don't write but I guess who wrote what. The answers were:
Cheap, overt negativity, uncontrolable farting, interrupts people
So, I said
boyfriend: uncontrolable farting?........... NO. Jeesh.
roommate: Interupts people?................. NO. Some roommate you are.
college buddy: Cheap?....................... Yes. but screw you too.
coworker: overt negativity................... Yep.
By the way, the farting was my roommate - okay, I would have guessed her next. My boyfriend was interrupts people - we are still "discussing that one". he's kind of quiet. I think he was trying to mess me up.
So, I scored two points and made everyone else mad at me. But, we got a laugh. Other questions have been "If you could kill anyone with no consequences, who would it be?" What is your dream car?
Anyway, it was a fun game. We usually have a few beers to warm up for it.
