| hrzak's Full Review: Loaded Questions |
My husband and I participate in monthly game nights with our friends, so we are always looking for a new and fun game to play. We were first introduced to Loaded Questions at a friends house. We mentioned how much we liked it and they gave it to us as a gift.
A simple premise, there are five categories which are read based on a color square that your game marker lands on. Questions are read aloud and all players (except for the reader) answer the questions. All answers are then given to the previous reader who then reads all the answers out loud and then the reader has to guess who gave each answer.
Some sample questions are:
Category is Personals, Question is: What odd bodily habits do you have?
Category is No Brainers, Question is: What is the worst movie you have
ever seen?
Category is Anything Goes, Question is: What wealthy person is the least
deserving of their fortunes?
Reader advances one square on the game board for every correctly matched answer. Winner is the first person to reach the last square on the game board AND who gets all of the answers matched correctly.
A very simple game and it only takes minutes to explain to newcomers how the game is played. It is a lot more fun when you are playing the game that it might sound here! We have played with six people and it takes about 1 1/2 - 2 hours to play. Everyone we have introduced this game to likes it as well.
The only thing we don't like is occasionally we get a really stupid question--so we cheat and draw a new card! Game is better played with people that you know or are friends with. This isn't a good game to play if you are getting to know people or if you have a small crowd, play with at least six players.
