My youngest loves being outside, like his dad. He also wants everything that big brother has. Well big brother has a “clubhouse”, my little one wanted one too. Actually he wants to play in big brothers and big brother doesn’t want him to. So mommy and daddy decided to get our little guy his own “clubhouse”. As soon as we seen it, I knew the Little Tikes Log Cabin was what we were going to buy.
We live in the mountains, back in the sticks- as my oldest says, and the Log Cabin would fit right in. Actually daddy is a bit jealous, he wants a log cabin too. (the real thing though!)
The Log Cabin is made of durable plastic. We keep this outside and it is no worse for wear. The log cabin can be easily cleaned, just spray with the garden hose and wipe down. The outside of the cabin “looks” like it is made out of brown plastic logs.
The Log Cabin has a red half door that opens and shuts easily. There are also four windows with either one or two yellow shutters. The shutters also open and close easily. With the windows and half door, it is easy for mommy and daddy to see what’s going on inside. The roof is green with a red chimney to allow the smoke to escape from the “fireplace”.
Inside the Cabin is a fireplace, a table and a phone. The table flips up and down. There is a pretend fireplace that has a fire burning. There is a shelf above the fireplace that you can store your goodies. The cordless phone hangs to the right of the shelf.
The Log Cabin measures 57 X 48 X 59. My son and his friend both fit in this comfortably with plenty of room. There is probably enough room for four small children.
The Cabin needs to be assembled. Hubby did the assembling and didn’t complain too much, so it must not have been too difficult to get together. He had it done it about ten minutes.
Little Tikes make the Cabin. It’s a quality product like all Little Tike toys. Little Tikes have yet to disappoint me. The cabin is recommended for children 24 months and older. My son has had his since he was 18 months old and didn’t have any problems.
The Little Tikes Log Cabin is the perfect size for my little guy. He loves having his own “clubhouse”. Big brother even visits occasionally.
Some may think the Cabin is expensive but with Little Tikes making this product, we plan on having it in the back yard for many years to come. I am sure we will get our money’s worth out of it.
My little guy and his mommy and daddy (and big brother too!) highly recommend the Little Tikes Log Cabin. There’s no place like home, your own Log Cabin home!
