I bought this Logitech M305 Wireless Optical Mouse over a year ago, because I needed a new mouse for my laptop.

And, this would be my first wireless mouse I've ever owned, and am very happy with it.

I love that the wireless USB for the mouse that I plug into my computer is very small, and it doesn't stick out very far on my laptop, so I don't have to worry about bumping into it or breaking it.

The mouse is perfect size. I can use it on any surface, and it works perfectly, do not need a table or mousepad to use it.

It doesn't make a loud clicking noise like most mouses make, it responds pretty quickly, and the optical (red) light underneath is not bright at all.

I turn it off when I'm done using it, with the switch on the bottom of the mouse. It has a light indicator at the top of it. And, when I turn it on it lights up green for a few seconds to let me know my mouse is ready to use.
It uses one "AA" battery, and which it lasts a long time, I go through one about every 3-4 weeks since I use my laptop daily.
The light indicator at the top will turn red when you need to change your battery. After using it for a year, I've noticed the red light will turn on well far in advance (at least 4 hours), so you have a little while before you need to change the "AA" battery.

I have dropped it so many times, and it still works like new!
