I figured, I might as well get a new keyboard when I got my new MouseMan Wheel Mouse by Logitech. I saw a Logitech keyboard sitting on the shelf. Checked the price....Hmmmmm 19.99. Let's see what this baby has to offer.

Comes standard with a wrist rest. Not all that important to me, but something that comes in very handy and is very helpful in the prevention of carpal-tunnel syndrome. Since I use my computer a lot, both at home and at work, I need all the prevention I can muster up.

My old keyboard was a clicker. I never understood the reasoning behind the necessity of one's keyboard having to make a lot of noise on every keystroke. I found it annoying (and so did my roomate on those late night epinion writing sessions) The Logitech i-Touch is a quiet keyboard, just how I like it. Silent keystrokes don't annoy me and my roomate is finally getting some sleep!

One touch access to search, e-mail, and home page on the keyboard. All of which are customizable and programmable. Pure convenience and ease of surfing are packed into this baby. If there's a certain application you find yourself using often, there's also a programmable "GO" button that allows you to launch any program you want.

Listen to a lot of CD's on your computer like I do? You're in luck, One touch access to play/pause, stop, and forward and back (track selection) on the keyboard. As well as one touch volume controls (up, down and mute) Ends all that right clicking on properties or bringing the program forward to change the volume. The one touch suspend or sleep button can be used just like clicking the start menu and shutting down. I absolutely love this keyboard. It comes with a PS-2 jack, so if you don't have the PS-2 port you'll need an adapter.
