A universal remote that will replace all your other remotes…not exactly.
It looks nice and it is balanced well . Very light in front with all the weight at the back .Easy to handle.
The remote requires having a computer to operate properly. You have! to install the software which I found very intrusive with all the information it requests…I just need to use a remote .
Using the software to program the remote is very easy . You can program devices and activities which help to sequence events easily. If you want to watch DVD it will power up the DVD, amp, TV and switch them to correct inputs.
The only problem is if you encounter a device they do not have in their data base. I found out the way they get the remote codes is by other customers. Oh..now it makes sense why all these registration questions and elaborate software… They download your information and share it with other users. So if you program your remote they copy the codes and distribute them to other users. If no one else has the codes you out of luck. Smart concept but it does not work all the times and I was wondering codes it is only their software downloads from your computer?
