Pros: More power than you can deal with, massive bass
Cons: Nothing major
The Bottom Line: Power, price, quality sounding and bass; what more is there to want than that?

| jvatt24's Full Review: Logitech Z-560 4 Speakers |
Logitech makes some of the best keyboards and mice at a cheap price, and Klipsch makes the best computer speakers. What if the two come together to give you the best you could get at reasonable price?
You would get the Logitech Z-560
Even if you think you will never buy these or use them, just listen to them once. Go to the store, turn the bass up all the way, and see what falls off the shelves. Once you listen to them, you will probably want to get them right then and there they are so good. And on top of that they are not really expensive like the Klipsch Pro Media 4.1 are ($300). You get basically the same things, even more in some cases as them without selling an organ to get them.
These speakers look absolutely fabulous. The satellites are black on all sides and are shaped in sort of a long oval. There are mesh covers that can be easily removed to expose the actual speaker part of it, which makes them look so much cooler. The stands are aluminum colored with rubber pads to they dont slip. They can be reversed so the speakers can be wall mounted. On the back of them there are two inputs for normal audio cable that it comes with.
This subwoofer means buisness. Its big and heavy and looks very precise in the construction. Its made out of wood; its not going to fall apart on you. On the front there is an 8" subwoofer which makes an earth shattering 188 watts RMS output. This means that it can have a constant output of 188 watts, unlike others which have a peak of a certain amount while the actual output is a lot less. Each of the satellites make 53 watts RMS, making a grand total of 400 watts. I dont know when anyone would use that much power, but it is nice to know you can if you wanted to.
Back to the subwoofer. It has to be one of the loudest, most deep bass producing out there for this little money. I dont mean you can only hear it, you can feel it a lot more than you can hear it. Crank it up all the way and everything will start to shake around you. Its like an earthquake when its going all out. Things start to fall off the walls and everything else rattles around. Its one of the best feelings in the world to actually feel the bass. It still does a good job at lower volumes and for sounds that dont want to have a lot of bass in them, like for classical music. While it doesnt excell at that kind of stuff, it more than makes up for it. You can fully customize the amount of bass on the control box with a twist of a knob. This control box is a long oval type thing that lets you control the master volume, fade, bass, M3D toggle on/off, a headphone jack, and power. The volume knob is a little sensitive at lower volumes but once you get the hang of it its not too hard. I hardly ever turn the volume knob past 1/2 way because after that it gets too loud to take it. I've tried going all the way to the top and even then there is not any distortion that I could hear. But by then I was becoming deaf from all the sound so I had to turn it down. Another cool thing to note is around the volume knob there is a blue ring that lights up when the power is on.
Some other features that these speakers have is that they are THX certified. This means that they are tested and perform better than a lot of other speakers.
Now, there is not a lot not to like about these speakers. They dont have Dolby Digital decoding or anything like that; they just plug into the sound card with two stereo mini connectors. You could hook them up to a cd player or something like that with a splitter (not included) and listen to music that way.
If you can find these speakers for a good price, get them. You will not be dissappointed at all in any way.
