No Mouse Trap Needed

Written: Nov 06 '00 (Updated Nov 06 '00)
Pros:ergonomically shaped - 4 programmable buttons - precise - QUALITY
Cons:none at all

For the longest time, I had to shake my mouse, bang it around to make it work. It was rather old, I'd say a good 4-5 years old. When I finally got the bottom removed to try to clean it out I noticed that it probably wouldn't matter if I did, there was about three pounds of fuzz trapped inside. Time to get a new mouse I suppose.

My boss at work, who's desk I often sit at when he's not there, is the best computer in our network (40 stations) He has a MouseMan Wheel Mouse. Since he got it, every time I used it I enjoyed it more and more. It's ergonomically shaped to fit your hand, for comfort and health purposes. Since I do a lot of web and graphic design and my hand is forever on my mouse comfort was of ut-most importance. This mouse delivers pin-point precision with pointer to object. Four programmable buttons make web browsing and application functions right on your mouse.

The scrolling wheel is probably the best idea when it comes to a mouse. Making scrolling through web pages and documents a breeze and being able to do so at your fingertips is also a good idea for a shortcut. You can program the wheel to either 3 or 6 clicks (like clicking the down arrow on the scroll bar 3 or 6 times) per wheel click on the mouse.

The wheel acts as a third button. There is also a thumb button conveniently located and easily programmable (most people I know with this mouse use that as their double click button) The best part of all about this mouse was the price. I apparantly stumbled across a great deal in where the mouse was priced at 19.99 (when I bought it I also bought a Logitech i-Touch keyboard which was also priced at 19.99) I got a discount somewhere (instant store rebate) of 10 dollars so I actually only paid about 15 dollars for this mouse. An insane deal for this mouse, which in my opinion is the most comfortable mouse and a very precise and well designed mouse. If you use your computer as much as I do, you'll probably want to check this mouse out.

It connect to a PS-2 port or USB port, no need to worry it has both available jacks already on it. No adapters needed to buy! How convenient is that? A must have for anyone who spends more then 10 hours a week at the computer.
