My parents' purchased the Logitech MouseMan Wheel for their home computer. After striking out with a number of generic mice, they wanted one that was comfortable and sturdy; I recommended they get a Logitech mouse or trackball.
The Logitech MouseMan Wheel has a perfect ergonomic design that has rid us of wrist and hand cramps while using the computer. It's a tall mouse, so oftentimes our wrists are not painfully wresting on the edge of the desk. The thumb button with a double-click option is convenient and helpful--one press of it and your window is maximized or closed. The buttons are strong and we haven't had to clean the roller ball yet.
The only complaint involves the wheel. Sometimes, it does not read the input correctly and scrolls down when you tell it to scroll up. This only happens on occasion and is a minor detail. Despite this minor annoyance, the Logitech MouseMan Wheel is a fine choice for your mousing needs.
