A friend of mine introduced me into this type of mouse. I tried it out and indeed it was awkward at first, but after a while movements with the mouse became for fluid, easier, quicker, more precise.
The mouse offers some great features with this model compared to older models. The wheel/button in the center is awesome! Great for scrolling and the button half of it is great for internet. I have mine programed to take me <- back one page! So instead of fumbling up to the Back button on my browser I simply hit the center wheel/button and I am there.
Now this mouse is probably not for everyone. As a graphic designer I sometimes have problems on doing precise small movements (Say 1 Pixel) I can usually find it, but it is not as easy as using a normal 2-3 button mouse.
Overall this is a great mouse, very ergonomically correct for my hand, keeps me a bit more relaxed when working instead of me griping a mouse that is somewhat square this one contours to my hand. Very nice mouse! Worth the money!
