Loud Bass Does Not Equal Good Sound

If you want loud, boomy, and completely muddy sounding bass, then these speakers are for you.  I purchased these speakers, hooked them up, and listened to a variety of music.  The sound was absolutely horrible.  I couldn't disconnect them and return them fast enough.  My advice to anyone interested in purchasing a good computer speaker system is this:  DON'T GO BY RATINGS ON THESE WEBSITES, INCLUDING MINE!  Let your own ears be the judge.  Unfortunately, so many people nowadays seem to equate loud sound with good sound.  I ended up purchasing and returning approximately seven different speaker systems before I found one that produced clear sound with clear bass and plenty of power.  I recommend the Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 system, but you be the judge.
