strange new formula?

Pros: the previous formula:
smells good
great daily shampoo
extends color
great price, good quality
Cons: Current formula (anti-oxidant):
leaves scalp looking greasy!
The Bottom Line: Someone please tell me why they changed the formula!!!

So I'm a big fan of L'Oreal products. I better be since my dad worked there as an exec. for 25 yrs, recently retired. Yup, now I actually have to buy shampoo and make-up (the horror!). In all the yrs I've been using the products, I can't say I've ever had a problem, I have very normal hair, not dry, not stringy, not oily, not super thick (although it looks thick since I have a ton of hair), not straight, not curly, just a natural wave. It takes about 3-4 days before my hair starts to look dirty (just near the scalp)- which is only if I go camping and don't have access to a shower. otherwise, it's an every other day thing for me. In all my life, I've never had any weird or adverse affects from shampoo - whether it's expensive or cheap, it all seems the same to me. I also don't blow-dry often or straighten it, so my hair stays pretty undamaged. Anyways, I like the clean smell and the price on L'Oreal color vive and have had no problems, until recently. I have partial highlights so I bought, as I have so many time before, the Color Vive for highlighted hair, about 3 weeks ago. The bottle is red but instead of the white bar where it read "for highlighted hair" the bar is now green but still says "for highlighted hair" and "now with a new anti-oxidant formula."
After the first use, I was going out, so I used a few products to straighten my hair like so many times before - a quarter size amount of straightening balm (redken) and a little silicon-based "shine" product (MOP). After styling as normal, I realized the middle of my scalp looked greasy! Like I hadn't washed my hair in 3 plus days! I thought it was user error - I must have just put too much product in. Then, the next time I used the shampoo, I used no product and let my hair air dry. Same thing! greasy scalp! what the heck?! I washed my hair with something else I had in my shower, some cheap stuff and it looked fine. Then, I decided to give the color vive one third and last chance...and it happened again! I have looked online to see if anyone else is having this problem and have found very little info. I'm just wondering if they changed the formula drastically and i plan to compare the ingredients on this anti-oxidant bottle to the older bottle I keep at my boyfriend's house to see what has changed. I can't help but wonder if this has happened to anyone else out there?! If it has, write a review so I know I am not alone! So bizarre!!!
