Pros: Nice Coverage, Inexpensive
Cons: Sometimes challenging to wash off of my hands.
When finances didnt recommend purchasing of Lancome products, I decided to try LOreal. There are three foundations from LOreal that I like. Today I will share with regard to LOreal Visible Lift Line Minimizing Makeup w/Pro-Retinol A & SPF12.
LOreal claims that this liquid foundation will cover laugh lines and reduce them in 30 days. Further they state that your skin will look smoother and younger. In all honesty it wasnt these claims that lead me to the purchase of LOreal Visible Lift Line Minimizing Makeup w/Pro-Retinol A & SPF12, it was the fact that a key ingredient is Pro-Retinol A. You see I occasionally deal with blemishes that I want to cover, but I want the foundation to have ingredient(s) that I have previously experienced good results in regards to blemish diminishing. There was a period of time (college) that I actually used prescription Retin-A. The results were good during that period of time, and sense that point I have experienced good results from foundations that contain a variation of this skin treatment.

LOreal Visible Lift Line Minimizing Makeup w/Pro-Retinol A & SPF12 generally costs me between $8.36 - $12.47, depending on where I purchase it. The bottle has an attractive shape, is glass and holds 1.25 oz. The shade I prefer is Natural Beige.
After cleansing my face, applying preferred skin treatments, and the occasional concealer, I shake the 1.25 oz. bottle, open the cap, and place a small portion onto the palm of my hand. From this point (my preferred method of application) I dab spots of this foundation along my forehead, bridge of my nose, mid-cheek point, and chin. I then use my fingertips to blend. This method works better for me than any applicator, and because my hands are clean I dont feel that there is a challenge with using this method.
This foundation provides easy and quick coverage for me, which is important for blemish concealing. I really like the texture of LOreal Visible Lift Line Minimizing Makeup w/Pro-Retinol A & SPF12 in comparison to Almay Skin Stays Clean Oil-Free Foundation, Almay Kinetin Skin-Smoothing Foundation, and a handful of others that I just didnt care for. This product compares to my satisfaction with Lancome TEINT OPTIM'AGE, Lancome Maquicontrole Oil-Free Liquid Makeup, and a handful of other foundations that met with approval.
Also I like the coverage received from LOreal Visible Lift Line Minimizing Makeup w/Pro-Retinol A & SPF12. The color is even and the outcome is a natural looking appearance that doesnt scream out, She has a make-up face. I have a few acne scars and feel that this product covers those admirably. The nice factor with regard to coverage is that I can apply this foundation in the am with no need to refresh prior to nighttime cleansing. This is also a good attribute for those evenings out when you are hitting the dance floors.
This isnt a product that I use daily. There are days that I merely puff on some powder or use other foundation choices.
In regards to the line relinquishing claims I honestly am unable to provide you with a correct analysis. I will say that my skin has never been irritated by LOreal Visible Lift Line Minimizing Makeup w/Pro-Retinol A & SPF12, it doesnt irritate acne, nor has it caused clogged pores. The fragrance is noticeable, but isnt medicine like. Also, the fragrance doesnt linger . But the coverage does.
The one complaint that I have with regard to this foundation is that it adheres to my hands if they are dry which is slightly annoying during the winter months. Please note that it does wash off with soap and I havent experienced a challenge with washing the foundation off of my face. I just wanted to mention this because it might be indicative that this product isnt a choice for you.
Overall I do recommend this foundation, like that it is much less expense than the Lancome products that I use, and will purchase it again. I honestly dont know the exact amount of bottles that I have purchase but will say that I know it is more than 8.
Ivory, Pale and Nude Beige
Natural Beige, Sand Beige and Buff
Caramel Beige, Sun Beige and Golden Beige
Creme Cafe, Cappuccino and Cocoa
As with other foundations, it is recommended to try the shade along your jawbone.
