For many years, I've used the L'Oreal Mattique Oil Free Makeup on and off since I've always had very oily skin (at least until recently, that is). But once those fine lines began forming around my eyes as the aging process started to kick in a few years back, I've discovered that my old favorite would settle into these lines and make them appear even larger than they already were! So I faced a dilemma as an oil free foundation was a must for the rest of my face yet I needed more moisture around the eye area. This is where the L'Oreal Visible Lift Line Minimizing Makeup came into play. While it is easily too moisturizing for the rest of my face, it's the perfect choice to cover the delicate skin around my eye area as it minimizes the lines forming there instead of accentuating them. Read on to find out more about this highly recommended choice.

This L'Oreal Visible Lift Line Minimizing Makeup is a medium coverage foundation available in several shades, including Sand Beige (my current color), Natural Beige, and Ivory, just to name a few. Containing an SPF 17 sunscreen as well as Pro-Retinol A, this foundation is a great choice for people who have dry or aging skin yet want to stay younger looking for as long as possible. It's definitely not oil free though, so use with caution if you have large pores or have acne prone skin. The foundation itself is a creamy consistency which is neither too thick nor too thin either. I have red undertones and the Sand Beige shade covers any skin imperfections with ease. It blends easily either alone or over my favorite moisturizer. And best of all, the fine lines around my eye area look much smaller when using this L'Oreal Visible Lift Line Minimizing Makeup. I don't use concealer around my eyes anymore as it makes those wrinkles look bigger as well.
~~~Packaging, Price, & Availability~~~
Each 1.25 fl ounce (36ml) glass bottle of this L'Oreal Visible Lift Line Minimizing Makeup can be purchased at most drug and discount stores, as well as online at drugstore.com for about $10. Coupons are frequently available in the Sunday newspaper, so keep an eye out for additional savings. I used to think this was ALOT of money to pay for foundation, but after trying more expensive Origins products lately (and reading about even MORE expensive choices in department stores), I've decided paying just $10 for good facial makeup is indeed a bargain instead! Since I only use this foundation around the eye area only, one bottle will last a very long time. It actually gets old and must be thrown out and replaced before a new bottle must be purchased. So to help keep the skin under my eyes looking as young as possible, this L'Oreal Visible Lift Line Minimizing Makeup does a great job at an affordable price.
Apply this L'Oreal Visible Lift Line Minimizing Makeup like you would any other foundation. I've always used my fingers, but many people use sponges or foundation brushes instead. Shake the bottle well before beginning so that the product is thoroughly mixed. Then dot this makeup onto the areas you want to cover and blend gently. Allow it to "set" and then lightly dust with powder as too much will also accentuate those fine lines as well. Now that I've been on generic Accutane for a few months and my face is far from being super oily as it has been in the past, I decided to try this all over my face recently to see how it looked on my changing skin type. Big mistake as I still have large pores and acne prone skin, so my face looked like a grease pit instead. I also had a few more breakouts at the end of the day as well. But I learned my lesson and have went back to using it just around my eyes as before. I don't use concealer in this area anymore as it makes those wrinkles look bigger. Thankfully this L'Oreal Visible Lift Line Minimizing Makeup covers nicely for me all by itself.
Those with dry or aging skin may find that this L'Oreal Visible Lift Line Minimizing Makeup provides a smooth, even finish while moisturizing at the same time. But use with caution on oily or acne prone areas as this foundation just might be too heavy and clog pores otherwise. For the delicate skin around the eyes, however, I've discovered that this foundation does an excellent job without caking or settling into those fine lines. It lasts all day while keeping my eye area moisturized and even protected from the sun's damaging rays with the SPF 17 it contains. And the Pro-Retinol A helps to keep my skin looking younger and firmer over time. So give this L'Oreal Visible Lift Line Minimizing Makeup a try and you just might be surprised at just how well this drugstore choice performs. Good luck and stay beautiful :-)
