Great food ruined by excessive "attitude"

LuLu serves wonderful simple dishes at reasonable prices. The pan-roasted mussels make LuLu worthy of a visit from faraway places. Nowhere prepares mussels as well and as simply as LuLu. Also, very few places can make roasted pork as well as Lulu, who is able to retain most of the moisture in the pork.
Furthermore, the family-style way of eating allows everyone to sample everything that is ordered. No one will miss any goodies. The food is LuLu's strength.
Unfortunately, the arrogant and unhelpful staff tempers the food. From the host/hostess to the waitperson, the staff exudes an overabundance of unnecessary "attitude," which sets the tone and mood of the restaurant, meaning that many of the patrons share such personas (birds of a feather . . .)
To be fair to any restaurant, I do not base my review solely on one visit; in fact in the case of LuLu, I have been there on several occasions. And on every visit, my party and I have faced way too much "attitude." It's just a shame that I must experience cravings for mussels from time to time. I appreciate restaurants that in addition to serving excellent food, it is able to make its dining room comfortable, pleasant and friendly.
As a whole, LuLu is worth a visit if one is seeking well-prepared food at reasonable prices and is willing and able to endure arrogance from the staff and from many patrons and a noisy dining room.
