not worth it

Last week a few friends and I had dinner at Lulu's. We started with the grilled mussels, a house specialty, and they were absolutely wonderful. They were so tender that the mussels practically broke apart when you tried to get them out of the shells. The good news is that this is a great appetizer, the bad news is that our meal went downhill afterwards.

We ordered the chicken fig sausage, the rotissere squab, and the morel mushroom risotto. The sausage was dry and not very tasty. Though the vinagrette salad underneath was good. The squab was also dry and tough and the risotto was quite bland. So the only high points in the meal were appetizer and part of the sausage dish. We didn't bother staying around for dessert.

Considering the cost of the meal, I definitely do not recommend this restaurant and will not be returning.
