Pros:Contains Shea Butter and other good for your skin ingredients
Cons:Nothing that I can think of
The Bottom Line: Helps repair rough dry skin wherever you need it, leaves behind a moisture barrier for soft smooth skin
For the last few years I've been a fan of products that contain Shea Butter which seems to help me attain smooth soft skin on my hands, arms and legs. One of my all time favorite Shea products is Crabtree and Evelyn, La Source Hand and Body lotion but the price is a bit high so I decided to try something else to use on an alternative basis with it.

I purchased Lubriderm Hand lotion with Shea butter in a pump bottle at my drug store a while ago. This lotion had a special offer and came in a shrink/wrapped package with a free tube of their Newest Product, Lubriderm Intense Skin Repair. Would you believe I put that tube in my Make-Up drawer and forgot about it?
But just recently, following a Miami "cold front", yes, it went down to 37 degrees here and my hands actually became dryer than usual. I was almost out of my La Source lotion and remembered I had that tube of Intense Skin Repair so I pulled it out and started using it.
What a great surprise! I really found it to be a terrific moisturizing and soothing cream which, within one day, improved the feeling of dryness on my hands, around my cuticles and the rest of my body.
Lubriderm Intense Skin Repair body lotion was developed by dermatologists for healthier skin and is made primarily to repair rough dry skin with a 24 hour moisturizing Time-Release technology which they say strengthens our skins moisture barrier.
It seems to really work, especially if you use it at night before going to bed. I don't think any cream or lotion will work if you are constantly putting your hands in water so bedtime is a good time for any hand cream. I use it on my legs after shaving and they are soft like butter. And, so are my hands when I wake up in the morning. I rub a little bit on and around each of my cuticles too and have noticed quite a nice improvement.
Out of the tube, the cream is a bit on the thick side but goes on smooth and easily. The scent is not heavy handed, it's light without being intrusive at all and though it may seem a bit sticky when first applied that feeling disappears within minutes, leaving behind a truly soft and soothing feel.
I've been using it everyday recently and really do find that this product lives up to its name. Intense Skin Repair, for problem skin or for everyday use, I give this hand and body lotion a big moisturized thumbs up.
