I am going to have to admit something here that I thought would never happen to me. I bought this product to write a review on because of all the reviews I had seen come through Epinions about the Cliff Luna Bar.
While at my local Albertson’s grocery last Saturday afternoon I decided to walk over the nutritional asile to see if they carried the Luna Bar because frankly I wanted to see what all the hype was about. Everyone seemed to be raving about this bar and I couldn’t imagine anything that was good for you tasting good.
I had to stand there going through all the nutrition bars trying to find this precious little gem that had so many keyboards on fire with it’s praises.
After a couple of minutes I spied it and the only flavor that they had for me to choose from was the Nutz Over Chocolate. Hmmm, something with chocolate in it, on it or around it couldn’t be all that bad so I placed one in my cart for my snaking pleasure later.
Well a week went by before I had the nerve to open that little brown package with Luna written across the front on a yellow and blue background. I had to study it a little longer and noticed that there are silhouettes of women that apparently doing some form of exercise. Hmmm again, this might work and give me the energy I so needed.
Well now came the time to gently tear open the foil that was covering the bar so I could have it intact to have all the ingredients and nutritional information.
I gently took the bar out of the packaging so as not to bruise it because something that had all the praise as this one needed to be treated with a gentle hand.
I looked at the Luna Bar and noticed the rich thick layer of chocolate on the bottom with what looked like a rice cereal coating on the top.
Now for the taste, I took a small bite expecting to find this to have as much flavor as a cardboard box but boy was I in for a big surprise. It was good; no I mean it was extremely good.
You could actually taste the rich creamy chocolate that was on the bottom of the Luna Bar, there was no guessing about it.
The top was crunchy yet chewy but not sticky where it would stick to your dental work. A wonderful combination of ingredients.
Well before I knew it I had eaten the whole bar and would have loved to have another one. I just didn’t want to spend the $1.00 to buy several, as I wasn’t sure how well I would like it. Boy did I ever like it in fact today when I go grocery shopping I am going to see if they have any other flavors back in stock so I can try each one of them.
This is one snack that I won't mind having on hand when I get hungry and want a little something extra to munch on. With 1.69 ounces you get quite a lot to satisfy that sweet tooth without doing your diet in and adding too many extra calories to your diet.

Sorry men, this is made for women. You might want to try the Cliff Bar for your nutritional needs.
Those that are diabetic need to check with your health care professional to make sure that you can use the Luna Bar as part of your diet.
I love the fact that this is so very low in fat where a lot of other snacks aren't.
