| Emilia38's Full Review: Luna Bars 1 Bar |
As my latest box of Luna Bars arrived yesterday via ENutrition.com, this time in Nutz Over Chocolate flavor, I felt particularly inspired to write a review on this FABULOUS protein bar.
The Clif Luna Bars are available in seven different mouth-watering flavors. While I've yet to try all of the flavors, the ones I have tried have been utterly delectable, with my two favorites being the Nutz Over Chocolate and the Lemon Zest, depending on my mood! Whatever flavor you choose, you can enjoy it without guilt, knowing you are getting a healthy protein bar, filled with 10 grams of ever-popular soy protein, and only 180 calories and around 5 grams of fat. Plus, they're high in folic acid, another important nutrient, especially for women.
At my current job in a natural foods store, I know that various food allergies are a large concern to many consumers. Another added bonus of the Luna bar is it's status as a wheat-free, dairy-free food!! I have had numerous customers with these common allergies come back to me with delight after trying these bars that are so delicious, and yet safe for their restricted diets, as well. Even those of you without any restrictions, however, will certainly find the Luna Bar a tasty, yet nutritious snack, or a satisfyingly filling breakfast alternative.
So, I encourage anyone tired of dry, tasteless, or too-sweet protein bars (believe me, I've tried a bunch) to give the Clif Luna Bars a try. Many of my customers have done the same, and they haven't been disappointed!
