Four-pound diapers, as big as all outdoors. How well I remember those!

I'm with Connie below. My kids were little in the mid-80s, too, and Luvs was the only brand I used.

So these new Luvs come in JUMBO size, huh? Wonder if they'll ever consider making ULTRA-JUMBO for incontinent old ladies?

Gettin' there,
Katy :o)

After All These Years They Haven't Changed! (Reply to this comment)

I used Luv's back in the mid-80's when my kids were little. I tried all the brands and Luv's was the only one that got my oldest son through the night without leaking. Back then they had just come out with repositionable tape--wow! It was a huge advancement! The diapers had just gone from the thick padding to the gel-enhanced version...ah, the dark ages! Glad to see the Luv's have kept up their quality after all these years.

Great review and good luck on the potty training...not an easy time! I still remember my son sitting on his potty reading a book waiting for "the urge". We used books as rewards--when he used the potty he got to keep the new book he read while waiting. He's still an avid reader and by gosh, he still reads on the "throne".

Thanks for reminding me how grateful I am to be out of the diaper-changing business!

I think..... (Reply to this comment)

....these Luvs Ultra Leakguards Stretch diapers are very similar to the Pampers Baby Dry, even their smell!

But I agree that they ARE a bit larger as I compared Tristan's size 6 diapers and the Luvs are bigger.

So other than Barney (don't care for him much either!) and their roomier size, they are just like the Pampers only they cost less, especially if you have a coupon! Too bad I waited until just recently to give them a try.

Hopefully we'll be potty training soon (please!), but until then these Luvs Ultra Leakguards Stretch work just great! You beat me to this one :-)

Great review!
