When I was pregnant with our daughter I made it clear to people that we would only use the best diapers on her. I only wanted as the Luvs commercial calls them "the pricey brand".
We would go from the two major brands trying to find the "perfect diaper" One would work during the day but not at night... I still wouldn't budge. I did check out Luvs at a friends house once and they just didn't have the "baby scent" that Pampers had. I wasn't impressed.
A year and a half after the diaper struggle my daughter spotted the "Barney Diapers" in the store. I actually had a coupon however even without one they are a few dollars cheaper so I caved in.
The first thing I noticed when I opened the pack was that "baby scent" It must have been added recently. I couldn't tell the difference between these diapers and Pampers. They are even made by the same manufacturer. I was impressed but not won over. I put a waterproof pad down under my daughter when she went to sleep. The next morning the diaper was full but had not leaked.
We have used these for a year now and only one leak but no diaper could have survived that incident. These are a must buy. We are currently trying for our second child and this time I will make it clear I only want Luvs. They are the best. (unless of course your child is 2 1/2 like mine and wont give up "Barney Diapers")
