Re: MBNA isn't my favorite bank, either... (Reply to this comment)

Actually, after I paid the balance in full, I was sent another statement with an overlimit fee attached! OVERLIMIT?! My balance was $0! I verified it on their website as being $0! How could I be overlimit?! I almost blew my lid. When I called them, they said that the overlimit fee was based on the posting date, which was November 1st. My check "conveniently" posted on November 2nd, just one day after. Even though I live in Pennsylvania, and my check goes to Delaware, it supposedly took 9 days to get there! They refused to budge on the payment.
As far as I'm concerned, MBNA is a criminal organization, and I still may consider suing them. Other than suing them, consumers have no other recourse against them, and they know it.

MBNA isn't my favorite bank, either... (Reply to this comment)

Most banks won't put you overlimit if what brings you overlimit is accrued interest...at least that's what I've always read.

Their reps .. (Reply to this comment)

are compensated/bonused on how little $$ they give back to customers instead of customer satisfaction .. just a guess , but it seemed that way to me when I dealt with them a few years ago.
