The Bottom Line: I would buy MB Quart products again. The 6.5" Discus is a good choice for people who appreciate quality sound.

I replaced factory front door speakers in my Mitsubishi Galant with these. The Galant came with separate tweeters in the dash and mid-woofers in the doors. These we wired in parallel by the factory. I replaced four factory speakers with a pair of 6.5" Discus and was really happy with the results. I mounted the speakers behind the factory grilles to avoid modifying the interior.
The imaging of the two MB Quart Discus is by far better than the 4 factory speakers. The highs are much brighter and the imaging is very good.
I don't usually expect much base out of 6.5" speakers; but I was impressed with these.
I look for a really clean speaker (no audible distortion at reasonably high listening levels) and these met the test.
MB Quart realizes that everybody's mounting situation is different and they make it very easy to mount their speakers. The frames are rigid and are high quality. They have a lot of pre-drilled holes and will match up with a wide range of factory screw configurations.
