I purchased the MGA Entertainment Lil' Bratz Loungin' Loft for my eight-year-old daughter. This toy caught my attention because she immensely enjoys playing with the Lil Bratz dolls. The dolls are mini versions of the traditional sized BRATZ. MGA has started to release fun accessories for these dolls; this loft is a fun set, especially for children that like creative ventures. This set is recommended for age 4 and up, caution is mentioned with regard to a possible choking hazard for children under 3 years.
Missy adores this addition to Bratzville, and both of us recommend it. Her initial interest in this toy house continues. Play sessions vary from 15-minutes to approximately 1-hour.
Insight, Detail, Bragging
Missy is a member of a competition dance troupe, requiring out-of-town travel. It was my initial feeling that this portable dollhouse would provide an excellent on-the-go option. Remarkably… she has enjoyed the Loungin' Loft more than I anticipated. Not only does the Loungin' Loft receive use during trips, she totes it to the dance studio for playtime in-between class sessions, takes it with her to the softball field, and uses it at home also. Overall she is exceptionally pleased with this toy and I have no regret with the expenditure.
Combine her adoration for this product, with my observation of the affordability, durability, and ease-of-use offered, to equal a four-star rating and recommendation for purchase.
Please note that this set doesn't include Lil' Bratz dolls, however they, too, are reasonably priced. The structure itself is sturdy, colors are eye appealing, and the furniture and accessories are tons of fun. In addition to the obvious attributes, I want to mention that because this toy is child-powered, creative play flows forth.
This toy is a possible gift option for girls 4 and older. Children who like art projects, vinyl-clings, or those who are Lil' Bratz fans, will be especially interested in this set.

While closed, this structure measures approximately 11 ½" tall x 11 ½" deep x 6" wide. Two vinyl handles are located on the slanted roof. This unit opens via a hinged middle portion, allowing two flaps to fold down, exposing a two-story unit. Each side has two rooms. The middle portion has a room on each level; each room has a door with a keyhole opening. These doors are easy to open. An elevator can be raised from floor one to floor two, via a rope on the top of the play structure.

Floor one, Right side offers a living room design - "Livin' Room".
Floor one, Middle offers a patio design - "Chill-Out Space".
Floor two; Left side offers a lounge motif - "Lougin' Room".

This entire structure offers incredible attention to detail, with pastel graphics that provide the perfect palette for your little designer.

These accessories add to the playability of the Loft. It is important to state that many of the accessories are constructed from coated cardboard, plastic sheets, or vinyl. Many of the accessories require minor assembly, via folding at pre-creased points and/or inserting tabs. The decor items have proven durable when used by my child, however if your child typically tears cardboard or vinyl play items, you might pass on this toy.
Additional Tidbits, Closing Synopsis
In all, the MGA Entertainment Lil' Bratz Loungin' Loft offers your child six rooms to decorate using the 15 furniture pieces, 50+ vinyl stickers, and other fun accessories. Instructions are included, guiding 'typical' use, but the decorating is left to your child.
My daughter has enjoyed playing with all of these items, and as mentioned earlier, I feel that this set was a worthy purchase. She has rearranged the furniture, redecorated the walls (with the stickers), and moved the occupants around.
This toy cost me less than $20.00. I purchased 3 additional designing kits, for approximately $6.00 each. The additional sets aren't mandatory, but children are might request them. While the add-on sets have some neat accessories, I would stick to purchasing the Loft. Again, this set doesn't include a doll; those are available for approximately $4.99 each.
I enjoy the fact that this set and the Lil' Bratz are easy to tote. Additionally I really like observing the child-powered imaginative play that unfolds. No batteries needed, just plenty of imagination! I will mention that occasional reassembly of certain furniture pieces is required.
