Pros:Fastest music transfer ever! Looks great, extremely Portable, quality sound sometimes.
Cons:Impossible to adjust bass and treble settings, headphones are inferior, software very limited, low volume
The Bottom Line: If Digit@lway fixes the flaws with the software, and the audio settings this player would definitely receive a recommendation from me.

I purchased the Digit@lway MPIO after reading numerous reviews about its size and portability. My main requirement was something to use for the gym. I wanted something that could be strapped to a treadmill during a workout. The MPIO seemed to be a perfect solution for me.

After using the MPIO for 6 months I have concluded that I could not recommend this player due to the serious flaws that will hinder demanding users. I gave the MPIO 3 stars because its strongest feature is the music transfer. Music transfer is lightning fast, and it’s relatively easy to get music in the player in a hurry. Also it is very light and extremely portable. You can successfully wear the MPIO during workouts, or strap it easily to a fitness machine.

There are couple of flaws that may prevent the popularity of this player. The headphones hurt my ears and are some of the silliest I’ve seen. They are idiot looking, straight to the trash they went.. They seem to be of quality construction but the cord is way too short and is not practical for use in the gym. I think they intended them to be used while sitting on a plane, or walking in a park, who knows? I ended up throwing them away! Get a good set and you will be fine. Another flaw is the limited software. The software menu can not be maximized to see all the internal windows. Support is very limited, if you try to load more than 40 tracks, you are out of luck! What were they thinking? They expect consumers to pay for a full version of crippled software? With a premium on the price it’s expected that you get basic functions with the player. And the last major flaw is trying to adjust loudness, treble and bass settings. There are a few presets, but you have to be very lucky to adjust them. Few times I can get in, most of the time not. Maybe my player is the only one with this problem.

Overall I would have to say that I am moderately satisfied with the MPIO due to the fast music transfer, quality sound and extreme portability. But there are too many shortcomings that prevent recommending. At a 200-dollar price… this player should rock.
