I do not have any children but I do have 2 nieces that are very close to the same age,size and weight and now that I am living in San Diego and they are in Los Angeles we needed to buy some things for when they visit which is just about every weekend now. Our first purchase was a car seat because they come down on the train a lot. That worked out so nice that we ended up purchasing the Stroller just 2 weeks later and we stuck with the same brand. Guess which one? LOL. Mclaren We have a winner.

My brother and I are both firm believers that when it comes to certain things such as this that there is no dollar signs only durability,safety,comfort and longevity and this product had all of those qualities. So when the price was near $200 we were a little surprised but more then willing to pay. My nieces are the 2 best things in my life. When I am down they come up to me and ask me what is wrong when no else thinks of doing it. They both bring so much unconditional love into my life that when it comes to them especially their comfort and safety there is no limit. Gotta little mooshy there, sorry back to the review.

Both of the children actually enjoy riding in it. The old one that they used to bring down was so skinny and uncomfortable that the children both dreaded going anywhere in it, same with the old car seat. We live near the beach so we do tend to go on really long walks with them so this stroller really has been well worth it. One time we left at 9:30 a.m. for a walk and ended up eating breakfast, lunch and dinner and didn't return until 7pm in which time Cierra (my sisters child) spent 90% of the time in the stroller and never complained once. It probably sounds like I am being paid to write this by Mclaren but I am not. I am just very thrilled when I make an expensive purchase like this and it turns out to be worth every penny. My luck usually isn't so good.

The design of it is very attractive in fact I have been asked on several occasions about it while strolling along the boardwalk. It has extra padding to make it extra comfortable for the kids too. Also it is equipped with a 5 point harness for safety. It may seem a bit extreme but our old stroller had a piece going under her bottom and another across their waist and anytime they would move it looked like it was going to leave a mark. Now with this one they can move around with ease but still not to far. It also has a pull out leg rest for when they decide they can't handle it any longer and they take one of their cat naps.

The great thing about this stroller is that it can be used from day 1 through the end of their stroller days. It can hold the smallest of kids to the largest. It also folds up with ease and there is very little chance of pinching a finger like on the old one.

We have had the stroller for close to a year now and it is as clean now as it was the day we bought it. Although they only visit on the weekends it does get plenty of use. Fold it up and throw it in the closet or in the trunk it really doesn't take up much room like some of the other luxury models.

All in all I think we made a really good purchase with the Maclaren Stroller. All parties are very satisfied and unfortunately they will probably only need it for a little while longer and then we will have to chase them down. Growing up is a tough job you might as well make them as comfortable as possible. My friend has already put a bid in for it when we are done.
