Pros: Very very powerful tool in creating and maintaining a website; easy to use; BUENO!!!
Cons: Complicated at first look; uploading can be a hassle.

Dreamweaver MX is the latest version of a product who's simple user interface has changed the online world forever. Its been around for quite a while, and with each new update, grows more and more powerful. I was skeptical of the whole Dreamweaver thing at first, for you see, I used to be a Frontpage (another website creation tool developed by Microsoft) boy. It was the first thing I developed with, and I loved it. Note "loved"!!! Now that I have had my chance at this program, I could never ever go back... Dreamweaver MX brings the latest online technology to the average consumer.
First Impressions
When I opened the box, and took a whiff of that "packaged in New Falls, Idaho" smell, everything seemed great. But, I soon realized that it was nothing like Frontpage, and then I became frightened!!! I'D HAVE TO LEARN ANOTHER PROGRAM!!! AHHHHH!!! But, it wasn't that hard. Macromedia includes a great set of tutorials for the advanced and novice alike. Just click help , and then Tutorials , and you'll soon be on your way, just as I was... It took a bit of time, and I soon felt strong and powerful enough to take a shot at actually creating something... That something turned into a big thing, a complete website, and could not have been easier!!! Remember though, I'm saying this with previous knowledge of website's and the internet.

HTML, No WAY!!!!
If you have no previous knowledge of html, or don't even know what the heck it is, your in luck!!! In Dreamweaver MX, you really don't have to worry about it. Html was the "old" way of creating sites, that had to do with alot of codes and gibberish that was just not fun... Now though, this has all changed. You want a picture on your site, you just drag it on over... Brilliant!!! Note: To those who still wish to view HTML on thier site, this is possible. Just like in previous versions, you get the "WYSIWYG" view and the "html" view, so It's really up to you.
Easy?
Well, it can be... Just pay attention to the tutorials and you be quite alright. It's one of those rare programs that that everyone can use, wheather they be novice or advanced! The key to creating something succesful is determination to learn what to do. If you learn it, and then build it, they will come... They, being the guests.
PROS
It's great!!! Muy Bueno!!! The fact is that this program is one of the best out there right now. You can do so much with it. The options are endless, and I've seen some pretty awesome sites. www.Ixcafe.com for example; It was done on dreamweaver mx, with the help of Adobe Photoshop 6.0 and a computer expert. Now, if your new at all this "computer" stuff, don't worry. The tutorials will guide you to making a great looking site, where you can store all your photo's and such!
CONS
It's a tad but expensive. I paid about 200 for it and thats quite a bit. But remember, this is an excellent program, and Frontpage costs about the same. Uploading can be a hassle sometimes, especially so someone who is not used to it. You develope these small problems that can really affect the way your site looks, but can fix them with the right knowledge and time. About time, it may take some to get good at this... Its not one of those "5 minute Wonders" that end up looking like crap. This is the good stuff, so work with it. It's your dough, make some bread!!!
OVERALL
Overall, its wonderful, and deserves a 5 star rating. I have never had so much fun with creating something. Work with it, and the product will look brighter and brighter. This is an age of sharing your thoughts with the world, and Dreamweaver MX is perfect for that.
