Excellent easy to use menus. Vibrant colours are easy to see in daylight. The auto night mode is a great feature. A lanyard ring would be a nice option or a belt clip. Switching modes (auto, marine, outdoor) takes a LONG time. Maps are readily available on their website. The bluenav map is $150 download! I'm sure there is a high profit margin there!! Topo Canada ($49) is a good and detailed map. Being able to backtrack with this unit is a potential lifesaver.

I live in Southwest Canada and I find that the points of interest are not up to date. It shows some restaurants that have been out of business for 4 years for example. There is no available update as of Nov 2007.

I bought this product because it is multifunctional. It has a picture viewer, MP3 player and triple function GPS Auto, Marine and Outdoor. I find it to be very accurate and easy to read. The volume could use a few more increments. If you have a loud vehicle, the voice commands may be difficult to hear. Fortunately there is a headphone jack.

The rubber thing that it comes with that fits around the outside of the case may make it more difficult for it to slip out of your hands, but offers little protection if it does. A hard shell case would be a nice feature.

I bought it at Walmart in Canada for $299.00. For the price you can't beat this unit (that's why I bought it).
