Pros: Makes GREAT babyfood, easy to clean, Super QUICK, Easy to use, Decent Price
Cons: Doesn't "chop" well, cups not stackable
I've had my magic bullet for around 8 months and have had NO problems with it! I got it after reviewing many types of food processor/blenders and looking at the reviews here on epinions - it was because of the opinions here that made me decide to buy the magic bullet.
I got the magic bullet for the purpose of pureeing my daughters baby food. It worked WONDERS! Not only did it do a GREAT job pureeing her food - we've been using it to make milkshakes and smoothies. We use this thing almost on a daily basis and it takes up very little countertop space.
I have also used it for cutting onions and carrots for stews and meals, it does cut them up, but it makes them a bit mushy even with just a small pulse -- so I don't use this machine for small chopping jobs...but pureeing jobs and mixing jobs is super easy. I was even able to puree meats...just add a little water to make it less lumpy. It also makes great PESTO and tuna salad spreads.
The only thing that I would like to see improved is I would like the cups to be stackable...all the cups take up a lot of cupboard space. I haven't used the "juicer" piece - I heard that doesn't work well, but couldn't say from experience.
Overall - I recommend this piece for new moms that want to feed their kids "natural" foods. It saved me a TON of money from not having to GERBER foods and other canned/jarred baby foods.
